On the surface, it appears Laraii has the perfect “evil” life: she’s beautiful, rules her high school (and armies of demons), is rich, and has the luxury of feeling her powers grow exponentially by the day.

But in reality, Laraii doesn’t have control over her own life. Her demon mother, Roshanara, controls every aspect of her life as part of her plot to overthrow the human population, her twin brother Carii is a jerk obsessed with his ex, and the one person in Laraii’s life who did love her and used to stick up for her – Naya – is now her mortal enemy.

The only thing that helps her get through the day is the “friend” that she secretly meets with every day. A secret friend that will definitely land her a “special” punishment from her dangerous mother, Roshanara, should the evil demon ever discover it.

Life isn’t always so sweet, but Laraii knows that. She also knows that when you come across something good, it’s best to keep it hidden.
